When do the working people in Honduras do their shopping? Much like North Americans, they shop on the weekend. Some shops, especially in the malls, are showy and stylish, but most places frequented by the average Honduran are far more humble. Most people wear used clothing and shoes imported from the United States. They may buy a few handmade Honduran items to accent their wardrobe, as well. I know these pictures seem less glamorous than others I have posted, but these stores and items are more typical of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Most of these photographs are from a small pedestrian shopping strip in the neighborhood, Loarque, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
