Sundays in My City

On the seventh day, God rested.

Why is it hard to stop for a moment, an hour, or a day?

Children find joy in playing. In make-believe. In enjoying the moment.

Why can't we do the same?

Sundays in My City are sponsored by Unknown Mami.

I am guilty of busy-ness. And not being still before God. Even when I know rest has its own reward.

I like days of nothingness. More than ever.

I am glad you have grandkids to help you forget about all of the crap, even if for only a few magical hours.

Yes, I know what you mean, Tara. That gang played it straight, and that's why it's funny.

Love the last picture! Wish I could keep a child-like attitude more often too.

It's good to relax sometimes, especially with children.

I think we all need to remind ourselves to slow down and enjoy the moment. Take care.

It's one of my talents: using kids to make others laugh.
